FAQ

Can I vote for non listed scores/composers?

Sure! The shortlists for Best Film Composer/Best TV Composer and Best Original Song Written Directly for a Film serve only as a guideline and are not complete. You can vote for non-listed work. The only condition is that the work must have been composed for feature films that received their world première screening between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017.

I missed the e-mail invitation, can I still vote?

Yes, please ask music.office@filmfestival.be or info@wsavoting.com for a reminder (but check your SPAM folder first)

I casted my votes, but did not receive an invitation to confirm my votes/ I missed the 8-hour ‘confirmation’ deadline. Can I still confirm?

Yes, please ask info@wsavoting.com to confirm your votes (but check your SPAM folder first)

I could not vote because I received the notification ‘bad request’, what should I do?

- timeout of the session (when you opened the voting form but there’s no action during 30 min) - the session was disrupted by re-opening the same link, but completing the form in the formerly opened tab (= part of the premised security) - your browser does not accept cookies (check your settings) - your browser does not accept javascript Most of the voters who did encounter problems last year, tried to work in a different browser which usually solved the problem immediately.

How can I participate in this year’s music programme?

You will find an invitation letter attached to the voting invitation. For more information, please contact Sophie Joos at sophie@filmfestival.be or +32 9 242 80 69
